Historical Detail - 1865-1950. Bought out father in 1865 and shortly after large orders come in for bugles for the Crimean war through a contract with the East Indian Company. Was joined by his sons Daniel in1857 and George 1860 who became owners upon his death in 1876. Total output of 50,000 bugles by 1894. By 1942 operation only as repairers.
