Historical Detail - The company operated at this location 1842 to 1946. Established by Vacla Frantisek Cerveny in 1842, In 1859 had a workforce of 80, opened branch in Kiev in 1867. If 1867 went into partnership with his sons Jaroslav and Stanislav and was known as V F Cerveny & Sohne. Joined by other sons Bohumil and Vaclav. 1891 had a work force of 100 and produced 6000 instruments for the Russian Army in 1895. In 1907 known as GmbH. The firm was nationalized in 1946.
