Historical Detail - David C Hall operated in Boston Mass 1854 to 1880. Was a Keyed Bugle player and band leader, he joined Allen in 1861 and established his own business in 1862, 1865-69 as Hall and Quinby, 1870 as Hall, Quinby, Wright and Co. Upon the death of Wright name changed back to Hall and Quinby, 1876 Hall established his own firm.
