Also has a symbol of an Anchor in a Circle with GA on each side. Historical Detail: This firm was established by Pierre Louis Gautrot in 1840's. During the 1840's claimed a work force of 200 with an output of 3000 Cornets, 1000 Trombones, 1000 Ophicleides. He was one of the major plaintiffs against Sax in 1845. The case ended in favor of Sax. In 1850 the workforce expanded to 300 with an annual production of 20,000 instruments. Again Gautrot was back in court about Patent infringement and again lost to Sax. By 1870 the workforce was 600.
