Historical Detail - White established in 1895 with C H Berg as White and Berg by 1894 was in collaboration with the trombonists Thomas H. King, by 1909 were were producing a full line of King instruments. 1925 purchased Cleveland Musical Instruments. Trade names: American Standard, Gladiator, Liberty, Master Model, Silver Tone. By 1940 250,000 were produced.
